Faded Paper Figures began, like all great endeavors, as a side-project. Writing songs between dissertation chapters and frenetic bouts of southern California traffic, John (vocals/guitars) and Kael (guitars/keys/machines) were simply looking for an aesthetic and rigorous diversion. Two or three songs into the process, however, things started sounding incredible—much too good to have come from KaelÂ’s apartment bedroom. Eventually Heather (additional vocals/keys) began adding some beautiful harmonies, and FPF became the brilliant blend of indie-tronic chamber pop that dazzles and sizzles on every track in their debut album, “Dynamo.”

Alphaville is a German synthpop group which gained popularity in the 1980s. The founding members were Marian Gold (real name Hartwig Schierbaum, born May 26, 1954 in Herford), Bernhard Lloyd (real name Bernhard Gößling, born June 6, 1960 in Enger, North Rhine-Westphalia), and Frank Mertens (real name Frank Sorgatz, born October 26, 1961 in Enger, North Rhine-Westphalia). The band was at first named Forever Young before changing to Alphaville. They are best known for their two biggest hits, “Big in Japan” and “Forever Young”.

Groove Armada – Black Light – 2010

Groove Armada are an electronic music duo comprising Andy Cato and Tom Findlay
from England. They are now primarily based in London, and continue to produce and
record music as well as hosting semi-regular club nights in London and an annual
London festival under the Lovebox banner.

The group has collaborated with a diverse array of artists including Neneh Cherry, DJ
Gramâ€Â™Ma Funk, Sophie Barker, Nappy Roots, Fudge Dog, Sunshine Anderson, Mutya
Buena, Jeru The Damaja and Richie Havens. Tom Findlay has described working with
Prince as his dream collaboration, although there are no plans for such at the moment.

Groove Armada is probably best known for producing music that have featured in
numerous media including advertising campaigns, movies and computer games

Black Light is sixth studio album of London duo Tom Findlay and Andy Cato. Record was
released on January 29, 2010 for Australia market via Shock and is due for release on
February 23, 2010 in EU and on March 3, 2010 in North America respectively. Black
Light combines more mainstream oriented sound of its predecessor Soundboy Rock with
rock spirit of Lovebox and also for the first time with a load of 80′s synthesizers. Album is
influenced by David Bowie Fleetwood Mac, Gary Newman, New Order and Roxy Music.
There are various vocal collaborations including Bryan Ferry, Fenech-Soler, Jess
Larrabee, Nick Littlemore, SaintSaviour and Will Young. First single was I Won’t Kneel
released on November 23, 2009 followed by more upbeat Paper Romance on February
23, 2010.
