Zita Swoon is born in the 90Â’s, in Antwerp, Belgium. Along the river and close to the port there was a smoky small bar where buskers from Antwerp,
Scotland, Ireland and Australia met other musicians to play and earn a bit of money. This was the headquarters of Stef Kamil Carlens.
Stef Kamil Carlens is the artistic director; author, composer, singer and instrumentalist.
His interest goes to the page he has just written and to the one he will write tomorrow, pen dipped in the English or French language. On his road, folk
and blues and even seeking eighties disco. He leaps between past and future with no real regularity kept in mind. This culminates into multi-angled
music going from absurd funk to the tradition of singer-songwriters.
